SANDPOINT — La Chic Boutique is sponsoring a screening of “Kissed By God,” a documentary about world champion surfer Andy Irons and his struggles with bipolar disorder and opioid addiction, this weekend at the Panida Theater.

There is a showing today at 7:30 p.m. and a 3:30 p.m. showing on Sunday.

Following both screenings, there will be an opportunity for an open discussion in the Little Panida Theater.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.

As the opioid crisis rises to a national emergency in the United States, the untold story of Andy’s life serves to tear down the myths associated with the crisis.

Andy revered around the world for his blue collar rise to fame and success. However, many were unaware of his internal battles that led to his demise.
