Johnston first at Ronan with 74, Snyder sixth with 96

RONAN — Libby senior Ryggs Johnston once again led Logger golfers and the field, taking first place on Thursday at the Ronan Invitational golf tournament.

Johnston shot 74 to edge Jayce Painter of Stevensville by two shots for top honors. The Libby High School boys golf team placed sixth overall.

The Libby girls golf team placed third overall at Ronan. Junior Allie Snyder led the Lady Loggers with a 96, placing sixth among individuals in a field led by Macee Greenwood of Corvallis with an 80.
