BONNERS FERRY — Dressed in black with accents of sparkling Badger blue, the Badgerettes marched onto the field during halftime to the cheers of the crowd. As the rock music set the beat, they danced, at times leaping high into the air, hands reaching for toes.

“They are working hard on their toe-touches,” said coach Lisa Dirks.

Under the stadium lights, the metallic blue and silver pom poms flashed to the rhythm of the music .

“Their Badger pride shone brightly,” said Dirks. “They danced their hearts out and I was very proud of them.”

Watch for the Badgerettes to perform this Friday which promises to be a great show.

“We’re bringing back a fun routine from several years ago,” said Dirks.

For the younger girls interested in dance, there will be a dance clinic for grade and middle school students on Sept. 14.
