Peggy Lee Durr

Peggy Lee Durr of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away at Renaissance Assisted Living on Sept. 13, 2018. She was born on Jan. 11, 1928, in Coeur d’Alene, to Walt and Marguerite Nelson.

She graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School then met and married Charles “Bill” Durr, on March 8, 1947. They resided in Hayden, Idaho, for several years and then moved to Coeur d’Alene.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Nelson; sister, Helen White and grandson, Joshua Durr. She leaves behind her three sons, Mike and Dan of Worley, Idaho, and Dave (Alice) of Post Falls, Idaho. Her grandchildren are, Maggie (Mike) Grover, Will (Dina) Durr, Sarah (Eric) MacKay, Thad Durr and Seth (Dana) Durr. She has five great-grandchildren, Brennan Tibbets, Dawson MacKay, Andrea Durr and Marshall and Laura Grover. She leaves behind her nephews, Fred (Peggy) White and Ken (Donna) Brandvold.

We would like to thank Crest Home Care for their compassion. There will be a graveside service held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018, at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens, 7315 N. Government Way, Coeur d’Alene, ID 83815. English Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
