Leading up to their divisional tournament at home tomorrow, the Libby High School golf team boys took sixth at Hamilton last Saturday, with senior Ryggs Johnston taking first place overall by six strokes.

Shooting a 66, Johnston beat out Hamilton’s Tristan Hanson (72). Fellow Libby senior Andrew Freese led the rest of the Logger pack, shooting an 89.

Libby Head Coach Dann Rohrer has said more of the boys team need to move into the 80s to be competitive. However, Freese and Ryggs remain the only members shooting below 90 after Hamilton.

The girls team did not place, but Libby senior Sammee Bradeen placed seventh overall with a 95.
