Come along for the ride! Pend Oreille Arts Council has put together an amazing exhibit called Golden Ages of Transportation which will open on Friday, Sept. 28 at the POAC Gallery, second floor of the Cedar Street Bridge with an artists’ reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

“From trains and classic cars to horse-drawn carriages and hot air balloons, your imagination will be transported to a world of mechanical and human-powered travel,” Emily Bond, POAC’s visual arts administrator, said.

“This will be one of our best exhibits of the year,” Bond said. “The local artists’ enthusiasm for this project has been tremendous and we’re excited to have it at our own gallery.”
