Gruber to give reading at NIC

North Idaho College will host a talk by author Bill Gruber, who is the author of “Baseball in a Grain of Sand” from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, in the NIC’s Writing Center in Lee Hall Annex. The reading is free and open to the public.
Gruber teaches baseball and America culture online for Emory University and lives in Moscow, Idaho. He is the author of several books and two books of literary nonfiction. Along with “Baseball in a Grain of Sand”, he wrote “On All Sides Nowhere,” which was the 2002 winner of the Bakeless Prize.
The event is sponsored by NIC’s literary magazine Trestle Creek Review, the NIC Writing Center and the NIC English Club.
