KELLOGG — The Kellogg Wildcats hosted their first spring sporting event last week when Bonners Ferry and Priest River visited for an Intermountain League dual.

The Kellogg girls team split with their IML rivals, knocking off Priest River and coming up just short against Bonners Ferry.

The Kellogg boys were swept by their rivals.

Lora Allred, Jaron Figueroa, Shaye Sullivan and Hailey Cheney scored massive points for the Wildcat girls, with Allred leading the way in the 100 and 200 meter sprints, as well as the 4x100 meter relay.

Nick Arvidson, Garrett Miller and Austin Stepro paced the boys teams, but a lack of relay teams hurt many of their team scores.

Boys Team Scoring:

Priest River 86, Kellogg 50

Bonners Ferry 91, Kellogg 45

Priest River 72.50, Bonners Ferry 71.50

Girls Team Scoring:

Kellogg 102.50, Priest River 36.50

Bonners Ferry 78, Kellogg 67

Bonners Ferry 119, Priest River 24
