As cleanup at Lee Gehring Memorial Field carries on, new projects are already starting in preparation for the coming baseball season.
Scott Foss, who has dedicated himself to improving and preserving Libby’s landmark ball field, said that the community response and donations have been “overwhelming.”
Foss said that with all the good help they have, aside from making donations, some of the best help people can give now is to come to the games this season and support Logger baseball.

Man found asleep at end of manhunt
An eight-hour manhunt that began with a 911 call about a suspected stolen vehicle ended Tuesday night with the apprehension of a Polson man, found asleep in a cabin on Lake Creek Road with a stolen firearm on his hip.
