BONNERS FERRY — The Badgers were down 11-3 after the top of the fifth inning and staged a dramatic 20-14 win against the Kellogg Wildcats in IML league play. The win propels their record to 3-2 in league and 3-4 overall.
GAME 1
After giving up 9 runs in the Kellogg top of the fifth fueled by four walks and five errors giving the Wildcats a 11-3 lead, the Badgers rallied in their half — getting 8 hits, including a towering three-run home run for junior Ty Bateman.
The next inning the Badgers added six more runs, including Seth Bateman’s second triple of the game, to put the Badgers up 20-11 going into the last inning. The final score was 20-14 with a Badger win.
Bonners Ferry ended up with 11 hits with Seth Bateman going 2 for 4 with 2 triples and 5 RBI. Wilson Newell and Gabe See both had doubles in the game.
GAME 2
Game 2 ended in the middle of the second inning with the Badgers up 13-4. The game will resume at a later date.

Tigers sweep Badgers, take control of IML
BONNERS FERRY — The Bonners Ferry Badgers baseball team was swept by the Timberlake Tigers in IML league play last Tuesday, 16-2 and 9-1. The losses essentially put Timberlake in the driver’s seat for their first IML league title in more than four years.
