Eureka Rendezvous Days comes to the Tobacco Valley Friday through Sunday, April 26 to 28.

The kick-off event is a free street dance Friday at Riverside Park. Music starts at 6 p.m. featuring Rob Quist and the Great Northern Band with special guest Halladay Quist. Michelle Rivers and the Bird Hop Band will open the concert. A beer garden and food trucks will also be on site. Joe Warner emcees the event.

The weekend festival also features a flea market and crafts fair at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds.

The Davie Thompson Black Powder Shoot promotes the fact that David Thompson was the first non-native to explore the area and map it. The event runs 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 8 to 10 a.m. Sunday and is held 1.5 miles north of the intersection of Montana 37 and U.S. 93, across from the Indian Springs Ranch entrance.

The Rendezvous Parade is at noon Saturday. This year’s theme is “41 Years in the Making — Looking forward, Looking back.” Following the parade the Bed Races take off on the streets of Eureka, starting at the Town Hall on Dewey Avenue. A traveling trophy will be awarded to the winner.

Other highlights include Rendezvous Jail at the VFW Canteen, senior center breakfast, Gold Rush gold-digging for kids, and live music from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Rendezvous Days conclude with the Mud Bog at 1 p.m. Sunday at the fairgrounds. Visit www.eurekamontana.org.
