Ronan grad shot dead in Minnesota

Police investigating a report of an “unconscious” male in a park in Maple Grove, a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota, found a man dead of gunshot wounds in the early morning of July 30. The man was later identified as Dayton Leonard Rossetti Carter, 26, a 2012 graduate of Ronan High School, news reports indicate. Public reports of hearing four gunshots coincide with the estimated time of death between 11 p.m. and midnight, July 29.
Police suspect the death is related to criminal drug activity. Two suspects are wanted in connection to the homicide: Adrick J. Hare, 20, and Arianna S. Sylvester, 18.

Funeral services were to be held August 4 in Alexandria, Minnesota.
