Showstoppers concert will delight audiences Aug. 20

COEUR d’ALENE — Join Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre for an evening of some of Broadway’s most thrilling songs featuring local singers and actors.

A “showstopper” is a song known to elicit prolonged applause from musical theater audiences, in a sense "stopping the show." Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre will present an evening of showstoppers with performances from professional local favorite performers as well as a few guests from out of town. The performers have been working together all summer and have built up a great rapport as a result.

Performers include Amy D'Orazi, Callie McKinney Cabe, Brandon Michael, Chuck Ethridge, Emily Cleveland, Josien Brett, CJ Lorentz and other favorites.

Some selected songs are “Gimme Gimme” from "Thoroughly Modern Millie;" “Impossible Dream” from "Man of La Mancha;" “I Dreamed a Dream” from "Les Miserables;" and many more crowd favorite showstoppers.

The Showstoppers Summer Concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 20 in the Jacklin Arts and Culture Center at 405 N. William St. in Post Falls. Admission is $25 per person. Wine and beer will be available for purchase.
