Dale and Pat Ruperd

50th Anniversary

Dale and Pat (Blakley) Ruperd were married Aug. 16, 1969, in Harrison.

They lived in Coeur d’Alene for 44 years before moving to Rathdrum.

Dale retired from the Coeur d’Alene Water Department after 30 years of service. Pat worked in retail and accounts payable.

They have two kids, Suzanne and Dale II; five grandkids, Alysha, Erika, McKayla, Beau and Katrina; and four great-grandkids, Jaydan, Elias, Leonidus and Freyja.

To help them celebrate 50 years of married life, their daughter Suzanne and two granddaughters, Erika and McKayla will be hosting a party on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2019, at their home in Rathdrum.

50th Anniversary

Richard and Peggy (Maselli) Leupp, of Coeur d’Alene, are celebrating 50 years of marriage on Aug. 10, 2019.

They met at Arcadia Congregational Church in Arcadia, Calif., as high school students and fell in love as they participated in the church choir and youth group. They were married on Aug. 10, 1969, and lived in Southern California for 43 years.

They have two daughters, Valerie (Leupp) Terbush of Yuba City, Calif., and Jennifer Leupp of Long Beach, Calif. They have five beautiful grandchildren.

They celebrated with the Terbush family and Richard’s brother, Alan Leupp and his wife, Joanne in Napa, Calif., on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019.

BIRTH

Adalynn Nicole and Elizabeth Jayne Swanson were born at 6:23 p.m. Aug. 3, 2019, at Sacred Heart Medical in Spokane, to Billie Rae and Christopher Swanson of Post Falls. Adalynn was 3 pounds 6 ounces and was 16.9 inches long. Elizabeth was 3 pounds 10 ounces and was 16.1 inches long. Brothers are Isaac Swanson, 4, and Owen Swanson, 4.

WEDDING

Ketterer-Landers

Katherine Ketterer and Mark Landers were married July 16, 2019. Parents of the bride are Frankie Berkley Newberg and Jim and Susan Ketterer, all of Ramona, Calif. Parents of the groom are Jim and Mary Ann Landers of Coeur d’Alene.

They were married by their fathers before their immediate families at Dillon Falls in Bend, Ore. Following the ceremony, a reception for extended family and friends was held at the Deschutes Brewery Tasting Room. Celebrating continued the next day with a float trip down the Deschutes River and a ranch barbecue.

Kat has worked as an event planner and retail manager. Mark is a helicopter pilot. They have made their home in Bend where they both love to mountain bike and ski.
