YMCA Camp Reed is the oldest summer camp in the Inland Northwest.

Founded in 1915, Camp Reed has been the premier spot for summer camp adventures for kids. Originally starting with 15 acres, camp Reed now has 555 acres. While it has grown over the years, it still maintains the magic of camp and the rich traditions of YMCA summer camps. With activities like archery, climbing walls, mountain biking, arts and crafts, swimming and more, Camp Reed is an excellent place for kids to explore new interests. Throughout the week campers will sleep out under the stars, choose a unit activity, play all-camp games, and interact with campers of all ages and demographics.

Campers are sorted by gender and placed together in groups of similar age and grade. This allows YMCA staff to optimize the camper experience and deliver a week of camp that is both age appropriate and unique. The mission of Camp Reed is to enhance personal growth, Christian values and a sense of community in a safe wilderness setting. Through active participation in unique challenges and new relationships, Camp Reed transforms ideals into lasting behaviors. By practicing our mission, we ensure each camper has the best week of their summer. Our staff are some of the best and brightest the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Attending university all across the country, we train our staff to understand the role and importance they have as a camp counselor while still delivering a fun camp experience.
