An injury crash occurred Monday at 3:20 p.m. on Highway 41 just south of Spirit Lake.

A red 1994 Toyota 4-Runner driven by Christian R. Kreiger, 31, of Sandpoint was traveling northbound near milepost 17 when he lost control of the vehicle.

Kreiger drove off the east side of the highway overcorrecting, then crossing over the west side, rolling once. Kreiger was ejected from the vehicle and transported to Kootenai Health with critical injuries. No seat belt was worn.

The crash is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
