City Brew opened a new coffee shop on the corner of Montana 35 and U.S. 2 in Evergreen in late October. The new shop on the busy corner across from Snappy Sport Senter includes a drive-thru, café and outdoor patio.
While the Evergreen City Brew was originally expected to become the third location for the franchise in the Flathead Valley, the former City Brew in South Kalispell next to Frugals along U.S. 93 closed with the opening of the Evergreen location. There is also a second City Brew at 15 Heritage Way in Kalispell.
City Brew Marketing Director Jennifer Stanton previously told the Inter Lake the company chose the new location to attract customers commuting in and out of Kalispell.
Finmark Construction built the new building over the summer.
The Billings-based coffee company started in 1998. They have numerous locations throughout Montana, as well as in North Dakota and Wyoming.
According to its website, City Brew “carefully select[s] only the top 2% of beans grown around the globe, creating distinctive blends full of flavor and aroma.”
Their coffees are available by the cup and the pound in their stores and at kiosks throughout the Western United States. City Brew Coffee is apparently also served in restaurants and convenience stores across the country.
City Brew is located at 1405 U.S. 2 East. Hours are 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.
