“We came out of the gates really well,” Coeur d’Alene coach Tony Hanna said. “They’re young, but good and we’ve got a long way to go. We’re missing pieces and just a little behind. But the good think is it’s a long season. We’ve got kids that can compete, and they’re good kids, but we’ve got to focus on us for a while.”
Senior guard Devon Johnson has yet to play for Coeur d’Alene due to a knee injury. Hanna said Johnson could be back as soon as next week, or perhaps not until after the Christmas break.
