SAN DIEGO — Lizzy Klinker scored 20 points to lead the Idaho Vandals to a 65-32 win over the San Diego Toreros on Thursday night, the Vandals largest margin of victory this season.
Idaho (4-3) finished 25-57 from the field, shooting a season-high 43.9 percent from the floor. Defensively, the Vandals held San Diego (4-3) to its worst shooting night of the season at 10-63, just 15.9 percent from the floor. Timberlake High product Allison Kirby had four rebounds and Lake City product Nina Carlson had three rebounds for Idaho, which faces South Florida on Dec. 11 in Tampa.
Washington State 85, Arkansas-Pine Bluff 56: At Pullman, Borislava Hristova had 27 points and 10 rebounds as the Cougars (5-3) in a nonconference win over the Golden Lions (0-6) at Friel Court.
Washington State hosts Gonzaga on Sunday at 2 p.m.
