KELLOGG — The Clark Fork boys basketball team already matched its win total from last season, claiming a 60-41 road win over Kellogg JV on Thursday night.
The Wampus Cats used a 24 point second quarter and a 20 point fourth quarter to secure a commanding victory over the Wildcats.
Clark Fork head coach Heath Beason was proud of his team’s performance.
“We started off slow but we built confidence each quarter and finished strong,” Beason wrote in a text. “We hold ourselves in a high standard and we still have a lot of work ahead. We lead as a team and not individuals and our bench was a great support tonight.”
Junior Cameron Garcia led the team with 13 points, six assists and four steals. Senior Josh Constantin scored 12 points, grabbed nine rebounds and had three blocks while senior Charlie Abbott added 11 points, seven rebounds and three assists.
Clark Fork plays at Priest River 6:30 p.m. tonight.
