AMAZON: Outgrown its britches

Jeff Bezos owns Amazon and the Washington Post. Amazon failed selection for a $10 billion Cloud computing contract. Jeff now complains that the decision should be revisited because of substantial and pervasive errors and Trump’s interference.

Readers often classify the Washington Post as an organ of the Democratic Party. A party, currently at best inept and so consumed with anger that it is nearly unable to function and relate to reality.

Even if there was collusion and the president had the time to interfere in one of the millions of contracts the U.S. Government enters into yearly, and even if he would jeopardize his standing during a period of unprecedented assaults on him and the office, there is one reason to deny Jeffy his contract.

Amazon is already too big of a company with far too much market share, control and influence. Big Steel, Big Oil, Big Railroads all had to be broken up in order to reduce their near total monopolistic control of their industries.

Amazon, Google, Apple, Facebook, Twitter, and yes even Microsoft and all the giant tech companies pose one of the greatest threats to this nation. A few people can control nearly all the information and significant elements of industry needed for a Democratic Republic to thrive.

Jeff and the boys are not our friends. Power, money, not answerable to anyone, monopoly of their business sectors equal long-term disaster. Which one of the tech giants was working on an algorithm that would pre-determine who was prone to violence. That type of work was at one time done by race, then they decided that the shape of one’s head was a good indicator.
