Campbell House Holidays wraps up this weekend

The Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture (MAC) is wrapping up its special Campbell House Holidays in December.
Guests are welcome to celebrate the holidays in the historic Campbell House and learn how Norman Rockwell's distinctive illustrations left a lasting influence on the way Americans celebrate the Christmas holiday.
Explore the house at your own pace, enjoy the Christmas tree and decorations, participate in crafts and activities and interact with the MAC's living history interpreters who portray members of the household. Chat with the chauffeur about the Campbell's electric car or help bake cookies in the kitchen while learning about life in the early 20th century. Visitors will receive complimentary sugar cookies.
This special event is held in connection with the MAC’s "Norman Rockwell's America" exhibition, which includes rarely seen original holiday paintings from the artist who influenced so many Americans' sense of holiday spirit. Campbell House Holidays will be open today through Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. Admission is $2 per person in addition to regular museum admission ($5 to $10).
The Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture is located at 2316 W. First Ave., Spokane. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays.
