Harris CPAs, Clark Anderson McNelis & Co. to merge

Harris CPAs has announced a merger with Clark Anderson McNelis & Co. of Coeur d’Alene, effective Jan. 1, 2020.

Clark Anderson McNelis & Co. is located in Coeur d’Alene and has provided tax planning and preparation, reviews and compilations, valuation and litigation support services and other accounting services since 1986. They have an established reputation for quality service and deep client relationships in the northern Idaho region.

“We are enthusiastic to continue the high level of service we have provided our clients for over 30 years,” said Curtis A. Clark, managing partner at Clark Anderson McNelis & Co. “Joining the team at Harris CPAs will allow us to take advantage of their advanced technology in service delivery and provide our clients additional technical resources. Their core values strongly mirror our own and we are excited to be a part of their continuous growth.”

Curtis brings along a team of seven other professionals who will join the Harris team. The Clark Anderson McNelis & Co. office, located at 560 W. Canfield Ave., Suite 100, Coeur d’Alene, ID 83815, will now be Harris’ new location in the Coeur d’Alene area.

Harris was founded in 1996 and provides customized services including auditing and assurance, tax planning and compliance and business consulting, using the most current technical strategies, knowledge over multiple industries and decades of experience. In November 2018, Harris CPAs hired Hale Fields, a Coeur d’Alene native, as its new director, and opened an office in downtown Coeur d’Alene to service its growing client base in North Idaho. This merger creates a unique opportunity to continue to expand their services in the region, while keeping the focus on their client relationships and the success of their clients’ businesses.

“Clark Anderson McNelis & Co. brings a great group of talent and experience to Harris and will be an integral part of our continued growth and success,” said Hale Fields, Harris’ director. Hale will relocate to the new office location.

A ribbon cutting with the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce will take place on Jan. 30, 2020, at 560 W. Canfield Ave., Suite 100, followed by a reception for clients and colleagues that evening.
