Ryan Wagner ice-fishing derby

The 14th annual Ryan Wagner Memorial Ice-Fishing Derby will be held Saturday, Feb. 9 at Murphy Lake on the Kootenai National Forest.

It will run from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

There will be prizes for the three largest fish in each category and for girls and boys in the under-12 and the 12-17 age groups. There will also be raffles, refreshments and door prizes. Raffle tickets are available at Thad’s Tackle in Olney, the Trego Pub & Store and Jerry’s Saloon in Fortine.

The entry fee is $5 for adults, $2.50 for ages 12-17 and under-12 are free.

Money raised will benefit the Ryan Wagner Memorial Scholarship Fund.
