SANDPOINT — A Sagle man has been indicted on six felony sex offenses in Oregon, 1st District Court records show.
Jason Lee Moore was arrested in Bonner County on a $250,000 warrant out of Yamhill County, Ore., on Monday. He is not challenging extradition to Oregon to answer to the charges, court records show.
Moore, 33, was indicted on four counts of first-degree sodomy and two counts of first-degree sexual abuse on Feb. 1, according to online court records in Oregon. The allegations against Moore date back to May 2015.
Police in the Willamette Valley city of McMinnville investigated the case, according to the arrest warrant.
A copy of the indictment was not immediately available on Tuesday.
Moore made an initial appearance in Bonner County Magistrate Court on Tuesday via videoconferencing with the jail, court records show. A public defender was appointed to represent him at a review hearing on Friday.
Moore was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in Sagle in August of last year, according to Idaho’s online courts database. The state moved for a dismissal in the case “in the interest of justice.”
Moore was charged with misdemeanor harassment in Yamhill County in 2016 and the court granted permission for him to live in Idaho while the case was pending, according to Oregon’s online courts database. The case was dismissed last year.
