MOSES LAKE — The History Channel show “American Pickers” is looking for unique, valuable antiques for upcoming shows. The American Pickers team, including Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, will be filming episodes in Washington during the month of April.

“‘American Pickers’ is a documentary series that explores the fascinating world of antique ‘picking’ on History (Channel),” stated a press release from February 2019. “The hit show follows Mike and Frank, two of the most skilled pickers in the business, as they hunt for America’s most valuable antiques. They are always excited to find sizable, unique collections and learn the interesting stories behind them.”

The hosts of “American Pickers” are looking “to recycle and rescue forgotten relics” and to give these historical items a new significance, all while learning about the past.

Some restrictions do apply. Only private collections will be considered.

“Mike and Frank have seen a lot of rusty gold over the years and are always looking to discover something they’ve never seen before,” stated the press release. “They are ready to find extraordinary items and hear fascinating tales about them.”
