The following students took first place in their grade level for the 2019 Kootenai Valley Christian School spelling bee:

1st grade - Halle Nixon

2nd grade - Caelan Gray

3rd grade - Thorin Nixon

4th grade - Zoe Warner

5th grade - Shya Huck

6th grade - Dylan Warner

7th grade - Kaitlin Keiscome

8th grade - Roberto Mickelson

The winner of the Fifth-Eighth Grade Spell-Off was Dylan Warner. Warner will advance to represent KVCS in the Lincoln County Spelling Bee in Eureka on Wednesday.
