Valentine's Day for veterans at Care Center

The Austin Reedy Unit 97 American Legion Auxiliary organized a Valentine’s Day party for veterans who reside at the Libby Care Center on Thursday.

American Legion Auxiliary member, Mary Beth Stroklund, said their organization focuses on veterans and their families, community, children and youth.

She said they wanted to do something special for the veterans.

Libby Elementary School students made Valentine’s cards for the veterans, Rosauers donated cookies for the party and Libby Care Center donated the venue.
