Crime task force seeks Jeremy Brown

The North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force is seeking information leading to the apprehension of Jeremy Shane Brown.

Brown is being sought on a Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office warrant for trafficking in heroin and failure to appear on the original charges of possession of a controlled substance.

Brown, 33, is a white male. He is 6 feet tall, weighs 194 pounds, and has blue eyes and blond hair. Brown was most recently listed as living in Spirit Lake.

The North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force, consisting of members of the FBI, Idaho State Police, Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, Post Falls Police Department, Rathdrum Police Department, and the Idaho Department of Correction, is tasked with locating and apprehending violent fugitives charged with such crimes as homicide, bank robbery, robbery, kidnapping, rape, sexual assault, felonious assault, arson and drug trafficking.

Anyone with information regarding Brown or other fugitives being sought for violent crimes should call the task force at 208-665-4455. The identities of callers will remain confidential.
