There were no injuries following a trailer fire over the weekend west of the Pablo reservoir.

Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Noah Pesola confirmed that after 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, a diesel truck pulling a livestock trailer was traveling southbound on Buffalo Bridge Road near Rivers Breaks Road when the unit caught fire.

The male single occupant got out of his vehicle and attempted to extinguish the fire, but was unable to do so, Pesola said, adding that he was able to release the cattle being hauled safely. The trailer was said to be a total loss.

There are no citations pending at this time.
