Sandpoint Titans win AAU River City Championship

The Sandpoint Titans seventh grade girls AAU basketball team went undefeated in the Post Falls league to claim the River City Championship.

The Titans also placed in two tournaments in the eighth grade division. In the River City tournament, they capped off a fourth-place finish by off rival Lakeland’s eighth-grade team in overtime. Earlier this season, the Titans also had a fifth place finish at the Zootown Classic in Missoula, in which they battled against eighth-grade Montana teams.

The Titans finish the season with a 10-4 record; their losses only came against to older teams.
