It was a tough week for the MatCat wrestlers on the road as they dropped a pair of duals at Libby Tuesday.

A pair of forefeited weight classes were the difference against Libby/Troy, as the MatCats fell 32-24.

Colten McPhee had the only non-forfeit win for Columbia Falls in the matchup as McPhee needed only 13 seconds to pin Daniel Rigney in the 182-pound division.

The Cats were forced to forfeit in four weight classes in their other dual Tuesday, falling to Sindey/Fairview 62-6.

McPhee and Jakob Freeman had the Cats’ only wins in the matchup as McPhee defeated Jett Jones via 5-3 decision and Freeman earned a 7-2 decision over Ryan Wyman in the 205-pound division.

The Cats will take on Glacier Thursday before wrestling at the Whitefish tournament Friday.
