Kats cruise past Libby at home, 62-41

Hannah Schweikert knocked down five threes and scored a game-high 18 points for Wildkats Thursday as Columbia Falls cruised past Libby at home, 62-41.
The Kats led 12-6 after one quarter of play before using 19-11 run in the second to grab a 31-17 halftime lead.
Columbia Falls went up by as many as 25 in the second half as the Kats easily picked up the victory to improve to 7-1 in conference play and 15-1 overall.
Along with Schweikert’s 18 points, Ryley Kehr added 16, Trista Cowan scored eight, LaKia hill had seven points, Maddie Robison scored five and Josie Windauer and Madysen Hoerner each scored four.
The Kats will be at home again next Thursday as they host Whitefish.
The boys will be in action Friday night as the take on the Loggers in Libby. Varsity tip-off is set for 7:15 p.m.
