Fire heavily damaged a Lower Valley home Thursday morning, but firefighters kept the blaze mostly inside the residence.
“A good neighbor called it in,” Somers Fire Department firefighter Robert Kienas said. “We were able to knock it down quickly, but there was quite a bit of damage inside.”
Kienas said no one was home at the time of the fire and the cause is under investigation.
Firefighters from Somers and South Kalispell battled the blaze for about two hours.
The residence is located on Blue Sky Lane, just off Farm Road.
