BONNERS FERRY — On Dec. 25, 2018, Boundary County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a residential burglary in the Naples area.

According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office, upon arrival, they discovered that firearms and electronics had been stolen from the home. Detectives continued working the case, and after following leads, they developed enough evidence to charge 27-year old Curtis Matthew Tucker of Bonners Ferry for burglary on March 22.

Tucker was sentenced in District Court on May 9, receiving a two year fixed sentence, with two additional years of indeterminate time. Tucker was allowed by the District Judge to enter the Idaho Department of Corrections retained jurisdiction program.

One of the stolen guns was recovered, but there is still missing property that has not been found. If anyone has information regarding this case, contact Boundary County Sheriff’s Detective Caleb Watts at the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office at 208-267-3151.
