Ronald S. Rose, 76
Ronald S. Rose, of Post Falls, Idaho, passed from life while circled by loving family members on Friday, July 12, 2019, at Kootenai Health, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Ron was born Aug., 28, 1942, in Wallace, Idaho, to Willard Rose and Geneva Wilkerson.
Those who knew Ron were able to experience his easygoing, free spirit. Throughout his well-lived life, he did, went and lived it like he wanted; which is more than some people can say. He shared his gentle nature, heartfelt laugh and love of music generously. He made many friends wherever he went, and was always glad to see them. Ron worked various jobs throughout his life, but hunting, fishing and enjoying the outdoors was where he was most happy and comfortable.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his son, Daniel Rose; stepfather, Ralph McKelvy; sister, Jinni (and Wayne) Dorsey and brother, Greg Rose of Post Falls, Idaho; stepsister, Debbie Greene of Spokane Valley, Wash.; stepbrother, Mike (and Betty) McKelvy of Ketchikan, Alaska; as well as many nieces and nephews.
At his request, there will be no services.
