- The Idaho Library Association is accepting nominations for its 2019 statewide awards recognizing the public library, librarian, paraprofessional, trustee, school librarian, friend and legislator of the year. To make a nomination, visit the association’s website or contact Rami Attebury at [email protected]. The nominations deadline is June 23.

- The Red Hot Mamas have received a special invitation to perform at Ireland’s St. Patrick’s Day Festival 2020. The local dance and community service group will travel to the Emerald Isle next year to perform in a Dublin stage show and in Limerick’s St. Patrick’s Day parade.

- The Culpepper and Merriweather Circus will be in Athol on Tuesday at the Community Center Baseball Field, 30355 N. Third St. Watch the big top rise between 9:30 and 10 a.m. Free tours follow. Shows are from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 to 9 p.m. The box office opens at 4 p.m. Advance tickets are on sale at City Hall, Super 1 Foods and Victory Auto Parts. The cost is $12 for adults, $7 for seniors and children ages 2 to 12.

- The Calam Shrine Circus will be held on Saturday, June 15, at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds. Times are 4 and 7 p.m. Cost is $15 for adults. One child 12 years and under will be admitted for free with each adult ticket. Tickets are at Super 1 Foods and at the fairgrounds.
