Raymond G. Potts, Sr., 89, died on Thursday, May 23, 2019, at his home in the Yaak of natural causes.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, June 7, 2019, with Rosary at 7 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Troy. Mass of the Resurrection will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 8, 2019, at The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Troy. Arrangements are by Schnackenberg Funeral Home in Libby.

Libby deer infected with wasting disease

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks officials recently found a white-tailed doe infected with Chronic Wasting Disease for the first time west of the Continental Divide, and the animal was found within the Libby city limits, according to a press release from the state agency.
