Rodeo draws plethora of contestants

Nearly 200 cowboys and cowgirls combined competed in the two-day Homesteader Days Rodeo last Saturday and Sunday, June 8 and 9 at Hot Springs.
There were steer riding, saddle broncs, barebacks, steer wrestling, tie-down roping team roping, ladies breakaway and barrel racing for the adults, plus junior breakaway roping and barrels, along with peewee barrels for the youngsters.
