Butte woman killed in collision on MT 35

A 95-year-old Butte woman died in a head-on traffic crash Wednesday afternoon, June 12 in Lake County.
According to information from Montana Highway Patrol, a blue Oldsmobile was headed south on Montana 35 northeast of Polson about 5 p.m. when it failed to negotiate a right-hand curve, crossed into the northbound lane and collided with a blue Subaru.
Ruth Rotondi died from injuries suffered in the crash. Other occupants of the vehicles were taken to St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson for medical attention.
No further details of the crash were available at press time Tuesday.
