Career and community involvement: I serve on the board of a couple local nonprofits.

1. What is the secret to having a successful business?

I think the secret to having a successful business is hard work, doing what you say you are going to do and surrounding yourself with good people.

2. What motivates you to get out of bed each day?

My motivation to get out of bed each day is my faith, my family and the excitement of building something bigger than myself.

3. Is the glass half empty or half full?

I’m super optimistic by nature so the glass is always overflowing! I realize that obstacles arise in life but that’s another opportunity to overcome.

4. What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?

Although I played sports with the local high school, I was homeschooled my whole life.

5. If you could book a vacation to go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

If I could go anywhere on vacation I would choose Hawaii because of the fond memories with my wife and children there on vacation.
