The Kootenai Klassic Wrestling Tournament once again drew in young wrestlers, family and fans from around the region Saturday.
Despite severe weather preventing some wrestlers who had to come from the east from making the tournament, there was still a strong turnout for the day of wrestling in the Ralph Tate Memorial Gym at Libby Middle-High School.
The tournament had 525 kids bracketed from ages 6 to 14, along with around 100 in the peewee category.
“Overall we believe the tournament ran smoothly and we would like to thank all of our volunteers for their help,” said Danielle Masters, of the Greenchain Wrestling Club.
