Roma Eileen Wuolle, 72

Roma Eileen Wuolle, 72, passed away Feb. 16, 2019, at The Hospice House of North Idaho, surrounded by family and friends.

Roma was born on Aug. 7, 1946, to Ryle and Roma Harkness in Bremerton, Wash. She grew up the daughter of a Teamster but lost her father at the young age of 9. Roma, with her mother, later moved to Northern Idaho, where she attended school in Kingston, and then attended beauty school.

Roma had several careers throughout her life, including working for the City of Lordsburg, N.M., working for a sawmill in Coeur d’Alene, working for Sunshine Minting and many years of bartending. Roma leased Watson’s Resort for many years. She then leased the King’s Inn and eventually purchased it.

Roma had one son and four daughters from her first marriage and then gained two more sons when she met and married the love of her life, Mike Wuolle.

Over the years Roma had many hobbies. She sold Beeline, Avon and Tupperware. She found a love for fast cars, and used to race stock cars. Roma enjoyed the demolition derbies and rafting. Roma loved to spend time in her yard with her beautiful flowers. She enjoyed cooking and baking and was famous for her amazing sugar cookies, cinnamon rolls and apple pies.

Roma enjoyed traveling and watching movies with her friends. She also loved to go “shopping, shopping, shopping” at her favorite “junk stores.” Roma loved to spend time with her family and friends, and found so much love and joy in her little Yorkie dogs. Roma thoroughly enjoyed giving to people and making people feel loved.

If you are one of the many many people that knew and loved Roma, you knew that she loved you back.

Roma is survived by her husband, Mike Wuolle of the family home in Cataldo, Idaho; children, Philip S. Griner of Cataldo, Kimberly (John) Orsburn of Kellogg, Sheridan (Rob) Griner of Spokane, Wash., Sara (Jeremy) Orton of Spokane, Vonnie (Heath) Schillereff of Kellogg and Jason (Jen) Wuolle of Rock Springs, Wyo.; brothers, Steve (Terrie) Critchfield, Mike (Michael) Critchfield; grandchildren, Heather, Jerad, Jesselyn, Donnevyn, Devin, Christopher, Casey, Daman, Austin, Skylar, Dakota, Ashlyn, Allysen, Kaden, Brielle, Noah, Dani, Isabella, Austin, Tyler, Megan, Jordan, Lexi, LJ, Mason, Damian and Winter; great-grandchildren, Stacy, Audri, Claire, Gabe, Jaxon, Mayliana, Mercedes, Arayah, Briah, Brady, Kacie, Ella and Ava.
