Student musicians tour Northwest

Northwest Nazarene University’s Bella Voce and Concert Band announced they will perform in Coeur d’Alene as part of their annual regional spring tour.
The groups will be performing at the Coeur d’Alene Church of the Nazarene, 4000 N. Fourth St., on March 15 at 7 p.m.
They will also be visiting schools and churches in McCall and Spokane.
This is a student-managed tour by student musicians, who have been working with their conductors over the semester to prepare for these performances.
Some of their repertoires include Rossini’s “Barber of Seville Overture,” Karl King’s “The Viking March,” as well as arrangements of “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot,” “I’ll Fly Away” and many other popular tunes.
Touring with them this year is a chamber group named Epiphany, which includes a flute, a cello and a piano, as well as a saxophone trio.
“We love performing so much. Tour is always a great time,” said student saxophonist, Joe Henry.
