The Renaissance at Cd’A to open new building
The Renaissance at Coeur d’Alene, an assisted living community owned by Radiant Senior Living, will open its new building, Chateau Rochelle, this month.
The addition of Chateau Rochelle will increase The Renaissance’s capacity from 64 to 80 units.
A grand opening celebration will take place from 4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, March 14. The public is invited to attend and enjoy live music, French-inspired refreshments and a grand prize giveaway.
The new building is the fifth chateau at The Renaissance, 2772 W. Avante Loop, Coeur d’Alene.
With roughly 7,300 square feet of living space, Chateau Rochelle is licensed for 16 residents. Care services are offered based on an individualized assessment of each resident’s needs and preferences.

Voeller hired to manage reading initiative
Innovia Foundation announced the hiring of Amy Voeller as program manager of Opening Books, Opening Doors, a communitywide initiative focused on reading success for K-3 students in the Coeur d’Alene School District.
Voeller joins Innovia Foundation after spending the past decade working as an adviser and consultant in media production for Journal Graphics. She holds a Master of Education in Counseling and Human Services from the University of Idaho.
Voeller currently is serving her fourth year as president of the Coeur d’Alene Education Partnership. An advocate for quality public education for all students, she brings a love of reading and strong ties to the Coeur d’Alene education community to this new position.
Opening Books, Opening Doors launched in 2017 and is anchored by a $600,000 grant from Innovia Foundation and other funders, including Numerica Credit Union, Mountain West Bank, Columbia Trust and Bouten Construction. The initiative coordinates the efforts of community partners to help every third-grade student in the Coeur d’Alene School District read at grade-level by 2020.
Voeller will work closely with project partners CDA 2030, the Coeur d’Alene School District, and University of Idaho Coeur d’Alene to develop and implement strategies that engage the community in improving K-3 reading outcomes for Coeur d’Alene students.

Tactica Defense Fashion, Tedder Industries’ newest brand, designs and manufactures premium holsters and clothing that allow women to carry concealed without compromising their style.
Little brings to the role 20 years of design, merchandising and manufacturing in the fashion industry.
