a starter at Fordham, suffers stroke

Jesse Bunting, a 6-foot-8 senior starting center at Fordham whose father, Bill, played on Coeur d’Alene High’s 1973 state championship basketball team, suffered a minor stroke Monday, several media outlets reported.

Bunting, who was averaging 6.6 points and 5.1 rebounds in 23 minutes per game, was in stable condition earlier in the week.
