Manhattan Christian, Bigfork and Wolf Point captured championships at state basketball tournaments held last week.
In a rematch of teams that met for the Class C state title the previous two years, Manhattan Christian ended Arlee’s bid for a third straight crown, racing to an 83-51 victory Saturday night at MetraPark in Billings.
Arlee knocked off previously unbeaten Scobey and Chinook to reach the title game.
Manhattan Christian finished with an unbeaten record.
Scobey earned third place with a 51-43 wn over Fairview.
Bigfork repeated as the Class B boys’ state championship as the Vikings edged Missoula Loyola 47-43 for the title Friday night in Belgrade.
Big Timber took third place with a 53-38 victory over Rocky Boy.
Wolf Point won the Class B girls’ state crown, defeating Florence-Carlton 48-35 in the championship game Saturday night in Belgrade.
