Nordicfest royalty; Sons of Norway scholarship deadline approaching

Though Nordicfest is still months away, organizers are hard at work preparing, and looking for candidates for Nordicfest Prince and Princess, as well as for the Sons of Norway Scholarship.

Nordicfest is looking for tenth and eleventh grade students interested in being a Nordicfest Prince or Princess for 2019. Applicants must attend a school in Lincoln County, either public, private or homeschool. Deadline to apply is Friday, March 29. Call 406-293-3386 or 406-291-4510 for more information or to receive an application.

The coronations will take place Saturday, April 13 at Sons of Norway.

The Sons of Norway are also looking for graduating seniors living in the Libby or Troy area in need of money to further their education after high school.

Scholarship applicants who attend may be students at one of the local public or private high schools or be homeschooled. The deadline for Troy High School applicants is Thursday, April 11.
