School officials tour Big Bend CC

Dennis note: Various high school officials gathered at Big Bend Community College to learn about the new programs. One was the 4-2 plan, but this plan is not explained. Makes one wonder what it was all about. Read on.

Basin high school principals and counselor were briefed on new programs and developments at Big Bend Community College during a Monday luncheon on the College’s campus.

President T.A. Roscher outlined the new 4-2 plan which goes into operation in the fall quarter. Other college personnel who addressed the group included Leon Van Doren, dean of instruction; Dr. Robert L. Mason, dean of students; Fred Huston, occupational coordinator and Betty Shambrook, college librarian.

Attending were Bob Mack and Gene Rosenberger of Ephrata; Leland Hutsell, Burton Wiig and Nancy Michael of Moses Lake; Robert Johnson and Gene Ord of Othello; Kenneth Zirker and Keith Morris of Warden, Sandra DeGabriele of Quincy, Howard Steinberg of Soap Lake and Ken Domina of Washtucna.
