Beverly ‘Joan’ Tope, 70
Beverly “Joan” Tope, 70, passed away Dec. 1, 2018, at Hospice House of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
She was born July 7, 1948, in Richland, Wash., to Robert and Patricia Horne. She grew up in the Tri-Cities and graduated in 1966 from Pasco High School.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Tim Tope; daughter, Sarah (Eric) MacKay; stepson, Clayton (Shannon) Tope; stepdaughter, Emily Tope; five grandchildren: Brennan Tibbetts, Dawson MacKay and Robert, Dillon and Elaina Tope; and 10 siblings: Pam, Patty, Kathy, Steve, Dave, John, Dan, Michelle, Mike and Shannon Horne.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Patricia Horne, and her beloved son, Joshua Durr.
Joan was a kind giving Christian women who loved to help others. Joan had a great love of gardening. She spent many hours in her beautiful yard. She loved sharing her knowledge of gardening with others and helping them beautify their yards.
She will be missed by many. Joan’s celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. on April 6, 2019, at Altar Church, 901 E. Best Ave., Coeur d’Alene ID, 83814.
